The North Face - Nuptse Jacket

A true classic of the outdoor, the legendary Nuptse jacket, available also in vest version, if treated with care, it will be your warm shelter and a trusty companion of many outdoors adventures (when it's cold, of course). An essential garment when the temperature drops below zero.

A negative note of the Nuptse jacket, in our opinion, is its hood hidden in the collar, which it's supposed to serve as a shelter from the rain, but that is not very practical. In fact, most of the time, if you're wearing a down jacket, it is because it is very cold and probably it won't rain, but it will snow. Therefore, the usefulness of this thin layer of fabric that you have to pull out of the collar of the jacket is at least questionable. Not to mention the aesthetics when you are wearing it!

  • High-quality down filling
  • Practical stow-pocket system
  • Unpractical, not functional hood integrated in the collar
  • Old design, improvable in many aspects
