Patagonia - Scree Shield

Excellent trekking shoes, robust with a though Vibram sole and ergonomic upper, that despite their rigidity guarantee very high comfort even after the most intense use. The low flexibility is a bit of a limitation whenever more dynamical uses are requested. However, the rocker helps rolling... I'm referring to the sole!
The Scree Shield are suitable for long approaches or even demanding trekking. The sole has a very good grip and even on the snow offers a good traction thanks to a slightly spiky profile. Not totally waterproof, but they offer a more than decent protection from water.
Even after intense use the "stink factor" is almost null.

PROS
  • Robust
  • Light
  • Ergonomic
  • Excellent grip
CONS
  • Not very flexible
